The Normand-Ayats story is of a family deeply attached to artistic craftsmanship.
The work of brother-sister design duo Sonia Normand and Romain Ayats spans Parisian street art, luxury car design, tattoo artistry, traditional painting, and digital illustration. They bring a unique craft to the Normand-Ayats brand, combining technical mastery, diverse artistic inspiration, and Swiss watchmaking to create original collections of exceptional watches.
Normand-Ayats Legacy Collection watches are certified Swiss Made, created in Geneva, the center of the watchmaking world. A close collaboration with exclusive partners RATEL GENEVE and HORDETEC ensures the highest quality final product.
At the heart of the watch is the 26-jewel SPT1-11, one of the most recognized Swiss movements on the market, the quality of which is rigorously controlled as each watch is assembled.

Each Legacy Collection watch is meticulously handcrafted.
Normand-Ayats is inspired by the métiers-d’art - a blend of artistic design and highly skilled manual work by master artisans to transform raw materials into beautiful objects.
The designs of Sonia Normand and Romain Ayats arise from their mastery and exploration of art forms, and perpetual travel that has brought inspiration and influence from people, places and experiences on the European, Americas, and African Continents.
The Legacy Collection draws on the heritage of classic watches but with its own independent, contemporary aesthetic, playing with depth, color, reflections and material layering, with subtle details woven into the design.
The watch hands are beautifully crafted to form a spear and shield evoking the warrior spirit, with the words 'Against the Odds' bringing the values and identity at the heart of Normand-Ayats into every watch.
The bold shape, robust design, and color quality reflect the standard of the materials used, and give the watch weight and presence on the wrist which draws the eye without shouting for attention.

The Legacy is the debut Normand-Ayats
Collection.
The collection is divided into three series defined by the color of the watch dial, and available as an exclusive Limited Steel Edition and as an Ultra Limited Gold PVD Coating Edition.
Legacy Defiant Green Series - a vibrant emerald green dial inspired by a passion for travel, adventure, and discovery in unknown landscapes and new cultures, with a fearless desire to keep moving forward on your journey, to never giving up, to remaining defiant in the face of any obstacle.
Legacy Ice Series - a clean, cool white dial carrying a simple elegance and style. The crisp clarity, light, and calmness in the design reveals the quality and beauty of the watch, and symbolizes the clarity of purpose, composure, and consistency that builds success.
Legacy Onyx Series - a rich, deep black (noir) color representing protection, stability, and strength. The Onyx Series dial is inspired by the black Onyx stone symbolizing self mastery, perseverance, and a confidence that does not need to announce itself - values at the heart of Normand-Ayats.
Each Legacy watch bears a unique limited edition number identifying it as an original First Edition Normand-Ayats timepiece.

The Movement
The movement of Normand-Ayats watches has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, a 44 hours power reserve, and an outstanding regularity with a variation of ± 12 s/d. The Legacy watch case and signature crown are made of first-rate stainless steel in a brushed finish. The Ultra-limited Gold Edition features a highly durable gold PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating. The glass is high-quality, scratch resistant sapphire crystal carefully selected for its durability, and features an anti-reflective coating for optimum visibility.
The Details
The leather bands of Normand-Ayats watches showcases details inspired by the talent of leather craftsmen from East Africa. Unveiling details refined by modernity, the Legacy also pays homage to the neo-Art Deco style and to the inherent, wild beauty found in nature. Here Normand-Ayats illustrates the harmony of its influences, most notably with the singular use of the arches of its logo stamped into the leather in a stylized pattern – suggesting reptile scales and emphasizing the inventiveness of the design.
